About Our Staff

John Sickman
Recreation Counselor
Kay Cochran, Art Program Director/Counselor

John moved from Redding, California to join the Learning Camp staff in 2008.  He spent several years in the Air Force, before joining his fiancée, Liz Rhodes, in Colorado.  He and Liz work side by side helping children to reach their potential.  John is a recreation counselor at camp.  During the off season from camp, John works at TLC Afterschool in Eagle County School District.  John is currently pursuing a degree in nursing.
